Two years without tourists has been extremely harsh on drivers.

At the moment, now when a few tourists are trickling in, drivers may desperately seek some income even to the extend of charging extremely low prices just to cover the petrol and put some food on the table.
We kindly suggest, that when arranging for transportation, to compensate drivers on a fair basis for their services.

Now, October 2019, the real airport hotel is Horison Sky Kualanamu Hotel, located inside the airport. The following new hotels can also be seen as Airport Hotels. These Hotels are The Crew Hotel, Wings Hotel and Prime Plaza Hotel. The hotels are at a 5 to 10 minutes distance by car from the Airport. The hotels operate their own Airport Shuttle Service. There are also a few budget hotels in the same area.
In a way one can also see the d'Prima Hotel in the Centre of Medan as an airport hotel as it comes with a direct train connection to the Airport. Read more in:
